Although this is one of the oldest lines of
wigs on the U.S. market, the company has recently added some newer
styles which has refreshed the overall line-up.
Several styles which appeal to a younger buying public have been added,
including some longer and trendier styles, as well as some nice hair
add-ons and falls.
Many of the wigs will appeal to a more mature audience (i.e. their
"classic" wigs), but overall, there is pretty much something for
everyone!
The quality of fiber and cap construction is very good, and there are
quite a lot of color choices. The newer Natural Airbrushed Colors
include some extremely trendy (almost radical) color blends and have
been very popular.
Con_opinion:
We find that the colors available for the older styles are more on the
"ash" or cool side, and there are few interesting blends or highlights.
HOWEVER, this problem has been remedied, as the newer styles use the
Natural Airbrushed Colors, which are very vibrant and trendy.

We feel that Rene of Paris wigs are made with the highest quality
fibers. They offer many different styles to choose from, and each are
easily maintained.
The cap construction used on their monofilament line is made extremely
well, and is best for those suffering from total hair loss.
Con_opinion:
We do not have any bad things to report about Rene of Paris wigs. We are
truly satisfied and it shows on our customers faces!

PRO_opinion:
I recently purchased the Stevie wig by Rene of Paris - the color was
Frosti Blond - very realistic, both in texture and color! - I expecially
liked the fact that the synthetic fiber was not too shiny. the wig was
lightweight and thin a definate plus!
Con_opinion:
Unfortunatly, I had to send the my Stevie wig back because of the color
of the bangs - the entire wig was a beautiful sun streaked blond - but
the bang section was one solid platinum color that did not seem to go
with the rest of the wig. I also did not like the solid colored tips at
the end of the hair. I think tips look much better on short and layered
rather than on long and straight styles. I am a member of a wig support
message board and what I hear is that this is a very common complaint
with Rene of Paris/Noriko wigs - I was told that I would have to order a
wig in a solid color to be able to have bangs that matched the rest of
the wig. As I don't want a wig in a solid color, I may have to begin
looking at other brands.

Very nice, soft caps for any wearer that has
undergone chemotherapy or has a tender scalp/head for any reason. The
Amore Collection cap is well constructed and has a double monofilament
layer which makes it very soft, yet strong enough to withstand months of
styling. The Noriko line is upbeat with a variety of styles, and the
Rene of Paris Collection has the basic traditional wig styles.
Con_opinion:
No Petite or Large sizes.
