This is a fantastic line of wigs -- one of
the most popular on the market -- for good reason. The color
blends are fabulous, the styles are great, and there is a wonderful
variety of both wigs, hair add-ons, hair extensions and other
accessories.
The company goes to a lot of work test-marketing their products and only
the "winners" offered in their line-up. Styles that are not as
popular are removed from their line-up, and fresh styles are added,
usually every season.
Some of the color blends are very unique, and there is quite a variety
of tipped, frosted, and blended colors that you won't find in any other
brand.
Raquel Welch also offers clip-in human hair extension kits which are
very popular, and can be dyed to match or contrast with the client's own
hair color.
The quality is superior, both in fiber and cap construction. The
styles are appealing to teen-agers and more mature clients, and everyone
in between. Definitely a great place to start if you are a
first-time wig buyer.
Con_opinion:
It is difficult to find any "cons" with this brand. We have heard
from some clients that the wigs "out of the box" do not always look like
the photos in the catalogs -- alas, we can't all look like Raquel!
However, for a few styles, the wig has been trimmed, or styling mousse
has been applied, but overall there are not many faults with this line.

Raquel Welch leads the pack with variety. This line offers synthetic
wigs and hairpieces, monofilament and standard construction caps, human
hair extensions and the largest selection of synthetic colors offered by
any other manufacturer. Almost every imaginable color combination,
highlights and frosteds, can be found in this collection. The Raquel
Welch line includes classic as well as contemporary styles in all
lengths and sizes, appealing to all age groups, and is subjected to a
rigorous quality control program
Con_opinion:
Many of the styles differ in length by as little as a quarter inch,
which can confuse new wearers when looking strictly at pictures in
either a catalog or on the Internet. The retailer should take extra time
assisting a new wearer with appropriate choices.
